July 19th,

Preparation is underway for the Ma Ganga and Shiva Blessings program.  This important program will allow attendees to come as close as possible to making a sacred pilgrimage to the Ganges river while still in the U.S. 

July 14th,

Yogi Baba Prem has been working on some new programs for local student's of spirituality and in-depth online programs.  These should be online to see in a few days.

Universal Yoga is preparing for the release of several new CD's from Yogi Baba Prem. 

Yogi Baba Prems new book, "Yogic Secrets of the Vedas has been expanded and has added Latin diacritic marks.   This book is being prepared for publication in India.  This will be his second book published in India. 

May 13th,

Meditation students were treated to learning a new breathing technique and application of a mantra with this technique.

Yogi Baba Premacharya's article on Turmeric was just picked by OmPlace Newsletter.

The Sphatika Shiva Lingam has been formally installed!!!

April 23rd,

Yogi Baba Prem's book Yogic Secrets of the Vedas has been selected for publication in India.  This will be his second book published in India. 

April 21st,

More hibiscus were planted to provide additional flowers for the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  Online Sanskrit classes started today. 

April 20th,

A short video was uploaded to the website to allow others to experience the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  This was not shot in HD, but at a later date we will have an HD video available.  This video is an excellent short meditation.  Click here, if you would like to video. 

April 17th,

A small bell has been installed at the entrance to the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  Traditionally, the bell is rang as one enters the sanctuary area.   

April 15th,

Yogi Baba Prem's YouTube page is up and running.  We currently have one test video from his recent visit to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary.  To view this and upcoming video's visit our YouTube page.  

April 13th,

We added a new article from Yogi Baba Premacharya to the website.  The article focuses on two important things every practitioner of meditation and yoga should know.  Click on articles to read.

April 12th,

Work continues on preparation of the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  Times are being scheduled for people to visit and meditate the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.   Currently these will only be on select days each week  Visitations will be limited to specific hours of the selected days. 

Yogi Baba Prem is currently working on production of a few limited "YouTube" video's for students. 

Universal Yoga is preparing to release a CD by Yogi Baba Prem.  This release is currently scheduled for May.  The CD will feature 4-fifteen minute lectures from Yogi Baba Prem.

April 7th,

Today was cooking ghee day!  Dayamata Shakti Prem took several pounds of butter, prepared and cooked for ghee, this will support the ghee lamps used for the Sphatika Shiva Lingam. 

April 6th,

Yogi Baba Prems message of the day has been accepted by Amazon as a program available on their Kindle e-book reader.  The message of the day will be available to all Kindle users worldwide.  Your support through Kindle subscriptions will help support the work of Universal Yoga. 

April 4th,

Yogi Baba Prem was broadcasting online today.  His show focused on Yoga.  Is yoga asana or is it a destination.  To learn the answer to this important question visit www.vedicpath.com This is an important issue for all student's of yoga and meditation. 

April 1st,

Preparations are underway to resume meditation classes.  Classes resume today.

Work is underway to develop a system to archive the teachings of Yogi Baba Prem.  These archives will contain many of his teachings that have not been available to many student's.  

New online workshops are being considered.  Yogi Baba Prem earlier in March approved teaching a Sanskrit program online and a new program exploring the Goddess.  This important workshop will focus on the feminine attributes of divinity, their form and function for spiritual growth. 

March 31st,

Auspicious dates were selected for installation of the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  Plans are underway and preparation for this important event. 

March 28th

Hibiscus plants were planted to planted to provide a supply of flowers for the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  Navaratri celebrations were concluded several days ago, and the Sphatika Shiva Lingam continues it preparation. 

We are currently working to select an auspicious day to install the energy into the Sphatika Shiva Lingam, turning the lingam into a a murti.  This will conclude over 6 months of preparation with the lingam. 

March 9th. 

New workshops have been scheduled.  Yogi Baba Prem has began Ayurveda consultations that are open to the public.  As Yogi Baba Prem says, "In the practice of yoga, it is important to know your karma through Vedic astrology, and it is important to know your body type through Ayurveda.  Every serious student of meditation, yoga and spirituality should know at least these two things."

March 7th.

Yogi Baba Prem received a request to write an article  for a yoga group over the weekend, regarding the yoga business.  Yogi Baba Prem spent time this weekend answering questions via email from student's.

Preparation continues for Navaratri.   New flowers have been added around the Spatika Shiva Lingam.  Planning is underway for planting Hibiscus, as they are auspicious to Shiva.

Happy Holi. 

Preparation continues for the Navaratri in celebration of Shakti for March.  This is an important time of year, as the Earth begins its renewal of life (Spring) for the Northern Hemisphere. Regrettably, this year navaratri is a closed event. 

February 25th.

New mantras were introduced in the preparation of the Spatika Shiva Lingam. 

February 23rd

Yogi Baba Prem formally revealed that he had received the traditional title of Acharya in the Hindu system.  This concluded a 20 year sadhana and 10 year sadhana he was given by Maha Avatar Babaji, his Guru.  The formal ceremony took place awhile back at the conclusion of a final 3-month sadhana for final preparation.   On Ekadasi, an auspicious day when the mind occupies the heart and ajna chakras, the final stage was completed. 

February 22nd

February 19th

Work is underway to add some items to the meditation room.  Dayamata Shakti Prem who is skilled as an Interior Designer and in Vastu, is overseeing this project.  A small water fountain has been added to the meditation room to meet the Vastu requirements. For those unfamiliar with Vastu, this is a sacred system from India that deals with placement and structure of building homes, as well as sacred design and layout inside the home.

February 18th

Student's enjoyed the Gayatri program last night and most international student's have received the link to the class and have started reviewing the tremendous amount of information that Yogi Baba Prem taught in this class.

February 17th

Dayamata Shakti Prem has completed her study, learning to sanctify the space that the Sphatika Shiva Lingam resides.  This completes over a month of study and training. 

Yogi Baba Prem performed the sacred mantras for the Sphatika Shiva Lingam as we continue to prepare it for activation.  The lingam has been under preparation for several months. 

Dayamata Shakti Prem has been learning the mantras necessary for puja with the Sphatika Shiva Lingam.  Yogi Baba Prem will offer a variety of sacred pujas for the Sphatika Shiva Lingam. 

Plans were finalized to install a picture of Babaji.  Babaji is the Guru of Yogi Baba Prem.
